Niagara River Gorge

If you are traveling to GeoWoodstock and have never seen Niagara Falls, you may want to add a day of geocaching adventures in the Niagara River Gorge to your plans. The Falls are located about 120 miles from the Warren County Fairgrounds and will take about a 2 1/2-3 hour drive to reach. There are many well done caches in the Falls including earthcaches at the state parks and urban micros in the falls, but the true adventure lies in a hike along the gorge. The power of the river along the gorge trails is an awesome experience. At times you will be at the river's edge on your journey. Be aware of your capabilities and prepare in advance, but enjoy a new memory.

  1. This has been our planned trip for a few months now. We have been before but it is certainly something you can experience multiple times if you get the chance. We'll be there from the 26th till the 28th for anyone that wants to meet up. We'll also be hitting up Castle Loma which about a 2 hour drive to the north.
