News - June 27th - Volunteers

I've been traveling on business in New York and unable to help the volunteers on site, but they have been very busy the last few days. This weekend, their efforts were spent preparing registration packets for this weekend. Today, they were working at the Fairgrounds preparing the site for the big weekend.

This week's work travels gave me a little extra time to stop at Chestnut Hills Park, one of my favorite parks in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area. If you are planning a side GeoWoodstock trip to Niagara Falls, set aside some time and make a detour to Chestnut Hills. The Eternal Flame in the park is a site to see. There are over 30 active caches in the park of varying terrains.
